Pool Party, Ibiza
I’d never really been to a pool party before. You know, the kind that you see in American teen movies and Justin Bieber videos. But I have now. Introducing Disturbing Ibiza! Yup, this is Tinie Tempah’s very own resident pool party at the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza. And what a pool party it was. Overall, it really was the icing on the cake for our first trip to Ibiza, Spain.
The Pool Party
Every Tuesday over summer, the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza opens its doors for a pool party featuring different DJs, plenty of inflatables, crowds of people ready to party, and plenty of booze. Sounds like trouble, right!? Just my cup of tea. Therefore, we donned our bikinis and kaftans and went down to the pool to participate in some drunken revelry.
What was even better for us was the fact that our room was just a short walk away from the pool, meaning we could pop back for drinks and food whenever we fancied.
Afterwards, we found some company in the balcony along from ours for more drinks!
Tinie Tempah then popped on stage to play some tunes causing the party to go wild. People were picking each other up, inflatables were going everywhere, and Tinie Tempah was spraying the crowd. People were splashing along to the music and it was so much fun.
All of a sudden, Martin Garrix showed up to say hello and drop some beats!
Ultimately, my first experience of a pool party was EPIC. It was great practice for the pool party with Calvin Harris in Las Vegas I’d soon go to after. In a slightly blurry ending to the day, we headed back to the hotel to get changed for the evening ahead.
Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza Beach Club
Next stop – dinner. We hit up the hotel’s beach club for their infamous paella and a bottle of white. This was all whilst the sun was setting across the beach in the background. Perfection.
The best paella I’ve ever had! Great sustenance for a night ahead at the legendary Superclub, Space, for Carl Cox.
Crawling back home in the early hours, it was yet another awesome day on the White Isle.
