Ritual Coffee Roasters, Lansdown Industrial Estate

One of my personal favourites when it comes to the best coffee shops in Cheltenham has to be Ritual Coffee Roasters. Voted Best Coffee Roaster in the Cotswolds 2019-2020, it’s hard to find a smoother cup of Joe in the town. Having recently relocated to a hipster warehouse space in the Lansdown Industrial Estate, it’s a great place to go for your weekend caffeine fix. With cool branding and a real focus on sustainability, it has become a real coffee favourite for the people of Cheltenham.

Baker and Graze, Suffolk Road

Located in Cheltenham’s fashionable Suffolks area, Baker and Graze is undoubtedly one of the best coffee shops in Cheltenham. It serves up a delicious range of coffees, as well as some delicious cakes to accompany your coffee breaks. As well as a cosy inside area, Baker and Graze boasts a lovely al fresco terrace for enjoying your coffee with friends. The cafe and bakery also serves up a delicious brunch, lunch, and dinner menu using fresh local ingredients.

Arc Espresso Bar, Gloucester Road

Situated opposite Cheltenham Spa train station, Arc Espresso Deli is in a super convenient location for being one of the best coffee shops in Cheltenham. Boasting beautiful, botanical aesthetics, it really is the hottest new Instagrammable spot for coffee in town. Order a deliciously smooth and creamy coffee, and turn up hungry to ensure you can devour their baked goods. Choose from incredible dulce de leche babka to homemade focaccia sandwiches to freshly baked Malteser cheesecake brownies.

Havanas Coffee, Prestbury Road

Havanas Coffee is my local coffee shop and personal favourite. With a theme based on the excellent coffee from the Cuban capital, it really is a great caffeine fix. Expect friendly service, reasonable prices, and delicious coffee. One thing you can’t avoid is the temptation of its freshly made cakes and bakes. From homemade slices of Victoria sponge cakes to cookies and doorstop sandwiches, you won’t leave Havanas Coffee hungry. Another reason it’s one of the best coffee shops in Cheltenham is its close proximity to Pittville Park, meaning you can grab a coffee and enjoy a long walk.

The Find, Regent Street

The Find has seamlessly eased its way into Cheltenham by serving great artisan coffee and delicious pastries. Stop by its Regent Street location for a frothy cappuccino and one of their signature cruffins. You certainly won’t regret it. One of the best coffee shops in Cheltenham, you’ll find a chic setting inside and plenty of seating upstairs. Enjoy crafted coffee or hot chocolates made using only free range milk from local farms, and delicious food from homemade lunches to tasty cakes. The service is equally as charming, and you’ll no doubt be greeted with a friendly smile.

Botanica Coffee Kitchen, Alstone Lane

A relatively new kid on the block, Botanica Coffee Kitchen has come to brighten up Cheltenham’s coffee scene. With delicious coffee and tasty plates, it’s a no brainer when it comes to the best coffee shops in Cheltenham. What’s particularly notable is coffee, which is from Girls Who Grind – an all-female coffee roastery. Pop by Botanica for its beautiful and plant-strewn (as the name would suggest) interior. Check out their range of trendy beetroot and matcha lattes, as well as their delicious homemade granola or smashed avocado.

Brew & Bake, Bath Road

Nestled on the bustling street of Bath Road, Brew & Bake is one of the best coffee shops in Cheltenham, and is certainly a town favourite. Meander the independent boutiques of Bath Road and come to Brew & Bake for the perfect caffeine fix. The coffee shop serves local artisan coffee, all of which is ethically sourced and delicious. Stop by for homemade cakes and sausage ciabattas to match. The interior is cosy and comfortable for a catch up or tapping away at some work which you watch the rain outside.

With a little chemical knowledge, these guys believe they have the formula to prescribe you the perfect coffee. On Cheltenham’s central Regent Street, the coffee shop boasts a Scandi, minimalist style interior that’s ideal for relaxing. Green Coffee Machine, Queen’s Road

The Green Coffee Machine is one of the best coffee shops in Cheltenham, thanks in part to its handy location by Cheltenham Spa railway station. A handy location, these guys are passionate about crafting great coffee, all with a green focus. They serve only excellent organic, fairtrade coffee that’s made with love, and it tastes all the different for it. Their unique coffee blend is sourced directly from roasters, with a medium to dark espresso from Ethiopia, Central America, and Indonesia. Hopefully, you’ll love the coffee just as much as I do.
